The sea is very strong moderately high long waves; edges of crests begin to break into spindrift. The foam is blown in well-marked streaks along the direction of the wind.
Enhanced protection from UV radiation from the Sun is required. A UV index reading of 11 or more means extreme risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure.
