If you burn easily, cover up and use broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen. Bright surfaces, such as sand, water, and snow, will increase UV exposure.

If outdoors, wear sun protective clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, and UV-blocking sunglasses.
